Halloween in the USA is a festive time filled with unique customs and fun traditions. Did you know that the tradition of carving pumpkins originated in Ireland with turnips? The shift to pumpkins happened in the US because they were more abundant.
Also, the concept of trick-or-treating is a blend of Celtic, Roman, and Christian customs. This year, I embraced the Halloween spirit by dressing up as a police officer, reminiscent of my past days working in law enforcement in Brazil. It was a nostalgic tribute to those meaningful times.
