1️⃣ Skipping Name-to-Face Checks – Safety first, always! Every child is accounted for to ensure they’re exactly where they should be.

2️⃣ Teacher-Led Product Art – Here, art is all about the process, not the product. By letting kids lead, we nurture their creativity and self-expression.

3️⃣ Leading with Consequences over Connection – We believe in guiding with empathy, not punishments. Let’s work together to turn hurtful behavior into helpful behavior!

4️⃣ No Gloves When Serving Food – Cleanliness is key! Gloves are always on when we’re handling anything that goes to little mouths.

5️⃣ Coloring Books – Our little artists don’t color within pre-drawn lines; they create their own! This supports originality and critical thinking.

6️⃣ Using the Safe Place as a Time-Out – Safe Places are for children to use to self-regulate if they are feeling overwhelmed in the classroom environment, not for punishment. We want every child to feel secure and supported.

7️⃣ Wearing Shoes in Infant Rooms – Clean floors = healthy babies. We leave our shoes at the door to keep infant spaces safe and spotless.
