Applicants must have 60 credits or take a basic skills test which is offered at our ISD.
Wages start at 16.00 an hour but can go up based on experience.

We are heartbroken as the Greenville community suffers an unspeakable and tragic loss. Our sincere condolences to the families who are hurting and to our colleagues at Greenville Public Schools, their students, and the families they serve.

Yard Sale at Seiter Education Center!

Come to our yard sale tomorrow! Tons of stuff to look at, amazing students helping with sales and all funds raised goes directly back to our students!

Our sale will begin at 8:30. Our students arrive at school at 8:10 and we need all staff supporting students as we prepare for our school day!

Seiter parents, we had a great day on our field trip! However, we are running slightly behind. Your student could be 10-15 minutes later than usual. Thank you for understanding!

Hello Seiter Families.

We have our annual yard sale on June 21 and 22. We are looking for donations to sell at the yard sale. You are welcome to drop off donations at Seiter from 8:00-3:00 anytime between now and next Tuesday!

The only type of donation we are not accepting is clothing.

This is one of our largest fundraisers that we do. The money goes directly back to our students to support with our school store and PBIS items!

Reminder: Seiter Education Center is not session for two weeks. We look forward to seeing our students on June 12th to finish out the 2022-23 school year!

Our teachers, para-educators, related services providers, nurses, administrative assistants, maintenance/custodial, food service and transportation staff show unconditional support and encouragement to our students each and every day.

Since returning from Spring Break, we are struggling with appropriate behaviors on the bus.

Parents- if you could please remind your student to use appropriate language on the bus and stay in their seat buckled, it would be greatly appreciate.

I recognize that many students have a long bus ride but it is imperative that they remain in their assigned area and buckled to ensure a safe trip.

We appreciate any and all support you can give us!

It is Paraeducator Appreciation Day! We are very thankful for our amazing Paraeducator for all of their hard work to help our students to be as successful as possible! You are truly appreciated!!!!

Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) operates eleven categorical classrooms on behalf of our local school districts. ISD/Local program classrooms, often referred to as our "satellite" programs, are located within Greenville and Central Montcalm Public Schools and provide students with specially designed instruction in a general education setting. Although classrooms are operated by MAISD, students in our satellite classrooms are included as part of the school building in which they are located.

Communication to our families of students in these classrooms occurs in several ways:
***Social media, emails, and text alerts from the school your child attends will provide information about school events, celebrations, and other school-specific topics
***MAISD sends a family newsletter monthly with information specific to our ISD/Local program classrooms
***Classroom teachers communicate on a regular basis with families about individual student progress and classroom updates

Given the multitude of ways "satellite" families can receive communication and our desire as an ISD to include students in the school they attend, as of today, this page will communicate exclusively with our Seiter Education families.

Way to go Team D/HH staff! They participated in the Central Montcalm Public Schools Hornet Wolf Ed Showcase Friday night by hosting an immersive experience for the community to learn about hearing and hearing loss! Well done team! (Not all team members are showcased in pictures 🙂)

Tri County Area Schools is closed due to icy roads today. Due to this closure our students who live in Tri County will not be transported today.

In addition, Central Montcalm is operating on a two hour delay today. This means that our programs operated in Central Montcalm will follow the two delay and MAISD transportation for students who live in Central Montcalm district will be delayed 2 hours.

I would like to share our newsletter for March. There are lots of great things happening at Seiter Education Center. Go Jaguars!

MAISD programs in Central Montcalm are closed 3-1-2023 due to power outages. This includes MAISD Transition Center.

If you have a student who attends Seiter Education Center or our Greenville Local programs and live in Central Montcalm District, no MAISD transportation will be provided today. You are welcome to transport your student to and from school. Please remember it is a half day today for us!

We kick off March is Reading month tomorrow at Seiter Education Center! Tomorrow is HAT day!

UPDATE: Seiter Education Center, Greenville and Central Montcalm Satellite Programs will be closed February 28, 2023.

No MAISD Special Education programs or MAISD transportation will operate tomorrow.
