Hiya fellow fans,

Our meeting will be held tomorrow in room A257 fro 2-4pm as always. We encourage you to attend our SGA Trivia Night this Friday from 6-9pm in room C003! You can find our RSVP form attached as well. It is $120 for a team of eight. Message us for more details!

In addition, our ICC Meeting will be this Thursday from 4 to 5pm! For the first half, you can have your chance to ask the SGA Executive Board any questions in order to promote the upcoming elections. The second half will be business relating to th Silver and Sapphire banquet and such.

Lots of exciting things for SGA!

Our meeting will be tomorrow in A257 from 2-4pm! In addition, we are promoting several things. First being our Trivia Night which will be held on March 18th from 6-9pm. RSVP a team of 8 for $120. Please message us for more info.

In addition, we will be having a second day for our Bake Sale! If you'd like us to deliver to you, message us. We will find a way to get it to you! Otherwise, we will be in the Connecting Link tomorrow from 10-1:30pm. Everything will be 50 cents or a dollar per slice.

Finally, during our Bake Sale tomorrow, we will also be promoting our Outreach Project. Community colleges from all over Illinois are joining forces to raise awareness on issues that directly impact us as students - . Show support for issues that you care about and also receive information on which resources can best be utilized for you and others. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Hello everyone!

Please join us in room A257 at 2pm for our fifth SGA meeting of the semester! We have special guests Andy Williams, Controller of the College, and Dr. Jerry Weber, President of the College, coming to speak with us!

In addition, we have an ICC Meeting this Thursday, February 18th, from 4-5pm in room C003! We have a boat load of topics to speak about including: new Budget Information, new Cafeteria information, “It’s on Us” initiative, Northern Illinois Food Bank, and new Club President Initiative!

And finally, SGA is having a bake sale! Attached you will find our menu, meaning you can place an order and we will hand-deliver to you! If you wish to place an order, message us with the following information: Room/Office location, time you want it delivered (Between 10 am-2pm…if you really want something and these times won’t work for you, we will work with you!), and, what you would like. We will deliver to LSC and SLC as well! Thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you today!

We have many exciting things coming up this semester!

First thing's first, our meeting for next week will be held in A257 from 2-4pm! We've had a growing number of visitors in the past week and we'd like to have that continue! Attached you will see our agenda.

Secondly, SGA will be hosting a Trivia Night on March 18th from 6-9pm in room C003. We are working on creating our RSVP sheet, but please make sure to spread the word! Space is limited.

Finally, we are accepting applications for student senators! Make sure to pick up a copy in Student Activities (B005A) for more information or you can hear from our current senate during our talk times. We may be visiting your classroom soon!

Hello to all!

Attached you will find the agenda for our meeting next Tuesday. This will be considered a formal meeting, so any questions that visitors may have will be directed once the senate and executive board have finished with their questions. We will be meeting in room D201 at 2pm sharp!

In addition, remember that the Leadership Workshop Series will begin next week with the first session being What is a Leader? Remember that there are three different times offered for the same workshop out of convenience for everyone's schedules. If you are a part of CLCService, remember that this is a requirement. Attached you will find the brochure in case you need to refer to the times. The first workshop will be held in room A256 all week.

Hello followers!

Today's SGA meeting will be held in room D201 and will begin promptly at 2pm! It is a formal meeting, so any visitors will have to ask their questions at the very end of the meeting.

In addition, a small reminder that the Leadership Workshop Series will be starting NEXT WEEK with the topic "What is a Leader?"

No registration is necessary. Workshops are open to all students. If you complete all five workshops, then you will be invited to the Student Activities Banquet and be awarded a Succeed at CLC Leadership Program Certificate of Completion!

Each workshop is offered at three different times for your convenience. Pick one. Please visit www.clcillinois.edu/succeed for the location of each workshop.

For next week, all three workshops will be held in room A256. We look forward to seeing you there!

Quick update, fellow SGA fans!

Next meeting will be held at the Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan! In an effort to create a sense of campus unification, we are hosting two meetings at the Lakeshore and Southlake campuses. The first of these meetings will be on Tuesday, September 22nd! We will be in the Student Life Center, room N015 from 2:30-3:30pm.

Also, today is the first ICC Meeting of the year! It will be held in room C003 and the topic will be introductions and conduct. CLC clubs must make sure that at least one member of each club attends every ICC Meeting. A club member may only represent one club at the ICC Meeting. Come on down and give us your input!

Small reminder that we will be having a Student Senate meeting from 2-4pm in room D201 tomorrow!

In addition, SGA will be involved with the annual Constitution Day on Thursday, September 17th from 12-2pm in the Main Entrance! There will also be an Interclub Council Meeting (ICC) that same day at 4pm! It will be held in room C003.

Hello to all of our followers!

With the start of the fall semester, it has been difficult to update this page, but we are finally getting the ball rolling! Our biggest initiative this year is to recruit more senators! Applications can be picked up in the Student Activities Office, room C101.

Our meetings are held every Tuesday from 2-4pm in room D201, usually. We will have a table reserved in the Student Activities fair in B Court on Thursday, September 10 from 11-1pm! If you wish to gather more information, do no hesitate to stop by!

In addition, SGA will be involved with the annual Constitution Day on Thursday, September 17 from 12-2pm. It will be held in the Connecting Link by the Information Desk and it will give you the chance to take a constitution test for an opportunity to win free gifts! Cookies and lemonade will be served. Also, get a chance to meet & greet with your Student Government and register to vote!

If you have any questions at all about what SGA is or the initiatives we have planned for the academic year, stop by C101 or email your SGA President, Connor Mallon, at [email protected]!
