Learning Time Preschool

Our school has a morning preschool class for three to five year old children. Classes are Monday through Thursday, 9 am to Noon. Our page is about all the fun and educational learning experiences the kids in our school experience every day.

Our school prepares the kids entering into kindergarten with proven results. The facility we have has two large classrooms, an outside play are with play equipment and a large indoor gym area.

[03/16/20]   I want to let all of our families know that we are following what the public school is doing for school this week. We will not have preschool on Wednesday and Thursday.

Cindy came from the library today. The kids love having Cindy read to them and she gives them a book to take home and keep. Thank you Cindy


Happy Halloween to all our preschoolers.


We have had a wonderful start to a new school year. Last week Cindy came to read to the kids and give them a book to keep. They always love to see Cindy. Today they made hand puppets that they played with.

We are so proud of our wonderful preschoolers. Last Thursday was our last day of class and we finished class with songs and fingerplays for the parents. We will miss all the wonderful kids we were so fortunate to teach.


We had an awesome week learning about frogs. The kids made frog puppets, and frogs out of paper plates. They also tried to catch bugs with a party blower. They loved that.


This week has been so much fun. It is farm week so some kids made bunny masks, and the rest of the kids made a farm mobile. In the pictures the older group is working with clocks, which they really enjoy. The kids sure have fun learning.


We have had an awesome week learning about sea animals. The kids made walrus puppets and seahorse cutouts as well as making other fun ocean crafts. This see Cindy came from the library. The kids always love when Cindy comes and reads to them.


This week is all about snakes so the older group made snakes that were taller than the kids. Every day the kids have a little time to work with each other on their sharing skills.


Last week we learned about plants. On Thursday the kids took home their grasshead where they can water and trim the hair at home. They were so excited about their plants.


We had a fun day celebrating Valentine's Day. The kids handed out their Valentine's to the other kids and had a blast.


Last week the kids had fun protecting baby elephants from Janet the tiger. We also did parachute.
Cindy came to read with the kids and gave the kids a free book.

This week we learned about bears.


The kids had another fun week learning about dinosaurs.
Cindy came from the library and always the kids love doing show and tell. The pictures are the kids with their book from Cindy and the other pictures are the kids with their show and tell.

Today we made turkey headbands.

Last week Cindy Bigler came to read for the kids and brought a free fun book for each of the kids to keep at home.
We also erupted the volcano.


We had a wild Halloween.

This is cat week. We made cat puppets and used water colors to paint.

What a fun week have had this week. Cindy from the library came and read to the kids and gave them a book to keep, we played outside, and we talked about the food groups. The kids made grape and apple hand puppets. They have had a wonderful week.

We have finished another wonderful year filled with learning, playing and being creative. We are so proud of all of our students. Every one of them was a joy to have in class. Here are some more pictures from our last week of class.


The last two weeks we have been exploring the ocean and all it's animals. We made an ocean mobile, foam seahorses and fish, and a sting ray. We were able to play outside a few days this week which is always a favorite of the kids.


We have had a fun week learning about the ocean. Today they were looking at boxes of shells. The also made an ocean mobile and some made a fish cutout.


This last week we learned about pets. We made pet puppets as well as we marble painted which is always a favorite activity. Another favorite thing to do is playing with the parachute. What a wonderful week we had learning new things and also having fun with some of our favorite activities.


On Thursday we continued with our farm theme and Jane brought in a chicken to show the kids. We also had Bo my dog visit all morning so the kids could play with him.


We have had so much fun learning about farm animals. Jane has shown a duck, cat, rabbit, and duck to the kids so far. We look forward to seeing what she brings out today.
