Information on small business Rapid Recovery loan program for all 100 counties supported by Golden Leaf

https://ncrapidrecovery.org/

The North Carolina COVID-19 Rapid Recovery Lending program supports North Carolina small businesses and family farms as they recover from the economic impact of COVID-19. This rapid recovery loan helps small businesses bridge the gap between when crisis strikes and when federal loans, insurance payouts, and other relief funds are approved, or businesses have time to recover.

This is not a grant program.

NC COVID-19 Rapid Recovery loans are not designed to be a singular source of assistance for small businesses. Repayment is expected either from more permanent funding sources or from the future cash flow of the business.
WCC has been on the conference circuit, showing our colleagues how it is done. Congratulations to Math Instructors Michael McKenna, Katie Mullins, and Elizabeth King (shown here) who spoke about some of their techniques at the 45th Annual American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges Conference; Wayne Business and Industry Center Director of Training and Development and Soft Skills Nicole Brown who led a session titled “It Takes a Village: Partnerships for a Work Ready Community and Beyond” at the 2019 North Carolina ACT Conference; Biology Instructor Lynn Swafford who discussed iNaturalist at the Association of College and University Biology Educators; and Dr. Thomas Walker, Jr. who served on a panel of community college presidents at the N.C. Council on Resource Development’s annual conference. Stay tuned for more presentations from the experts at WCC.
