All 3rd grade students will be taking Arizona’s Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) starting this week. This is the statewide academic achievement test for all students in 3rd-8th grade. This test is important because it gives schools, teachers, students, and parents valuable information on areas of strength and areas to improve. Please make sure students get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and are at school and on time each day of the testing so they can do their best and Ace the AASA!
The testing schedule is as follows:
-Tuesday, April 5 is the writing test
-Wednesday, April 13 is reading part 1
-Thursday, April 14 is reading part 2
-Monday, April 18 is math part 1
-Tuesday, April 19 is math part 2

Documents required to register are an original birth certificate, immunization records, proof of address such as a utility bill or rental agreement, and identification.
