Lambda Pi Eta (LPE) is the official communication studies honor society of the National
Communication Association (NCA).
As an accredited member of the Association of
College Honor Societies (ACHS), Lambda Pi Eta has over 400 active chapters at colleges
and universities worldwide and provides academic recognition for Communication
Studies students with strong academic records and an ethic of community service. Lambda Pi Eta represents what Aristotle described in the Rhetoric as the three ingredients

In order to be eligible for Lambda Pi Eta students must meet the following criteria:
-Completed 60 semester credit hours
-Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
-Completed 12 semester hours of communication study
-Minimum GPA of 3.25 for all Communication Studies courses
-Member in good standing of the university
-Commitment to the field of communication and service to the chapter
