There will be a meeting this Friday in the electronic classroom right after school! Tell your friends! Hope to see everyone on Friday. Have a good day!

Sorry about the delay guys, the social won't be able to start until around 2:45 due to IB testing running a little over. Feel free to hang out outside the library or to leave shortly then come back. It will be about an hour long so it should end around 4.

Yo Book Nerds! School is almost out, yay! But don't forget!! The IHS Reads Social is TOMORROW!!!! Please bring something with you to contribute to our food pile! We still need drinks and whatnot, so please help out! Also if you have games that you can bring, bring some of those too. We will be meeting in the Library after school. This is the last gathering for the club of this school year. Let's make it memorable!

Hey there Book Nerds! Hope you've been enjoying the rain! Just a reminder though, we have scheduled a social for the club and any perspective members on Friday, May 15th! It will be in the common area of the Library after school, so hopefully you can come! The club will be ordering ham and turkey sandwiches from Jimmy Johns but we also need your help! If you plan to attend, please bring something with you! We ask for any games that you can bring, but also that the Juniors & Seniors bring drinks or desserts, and that the Freshmen & Sophomores bring snack foods (i.e. chips & dip or donuts). If you are planning to bring something, please let us know so that there won't be too much overlap. You can do that by commenting below or by visiting Ms. Winkel to let her know what you would like to bring. Thank you!

Need an idea? Ms. Winkel has the master list and can offer suggestions!

The elections were today and we had lots of new faces come out to vote! Here are the new officers for next year's Ironwood Reads Club:
President: Ruweida Said
Vice-President: Keerthi Kurian
Secretary: Shalina Bianca Baysan
Treasurer: Alison Morales & Osvin Serrano
Historian: Anmol Bhakta
PR: Anastasia Salazar & Marisa Eldridge
These are the officers of 2015-2016, after the school year is over, they will be running this page.

Wanna help say thank you to Ms. Winkel for being such an awesome sponsor this year? Then please come to the library and sign the Winkel Book. Ask a library TA or Mrs. Nielsen/Bruce. But don't spill the beans!!! Please sign it before the meeting today!

Don't forget that elections are tomorrow! Candidates must have a speech prepared, good luck! Everyone else please come and vote or forever hold your peace! Corny, I know, but that still means that you should come!!! There will be cookies as encouragement but keep in mind you have to listen to the speeches and vote to get a cookie!

Attention members who have signed up for elections: there is a form in the front office with Ms. Winkel that you need to fill out. It should only take five minutes and they have to be done before the end of the day on Thursday! None will be excepted on Friday. Also elections are still going to be this week on Friday in our usual spot and time.

Breaking News: Elections have been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the elections have had to be moved to next week. If you have any questions please feel free to ask Mrs. Winkel.

Great job tonight everyone! We had an amazing turnout! Don't forget that tomorrow there is a meeting and the elections for next year's club officers! Come vote!!
