Thank you to PHS drama team for inspiring Purdy 4th & 5th grade students with your Cinderella performance! 🐾❤️

I had the best time enjoying pizza lunch with these outstanding 2nd grade Panthers who saved up 40 Panther Paws! Purdy Proud! 🐾

2/3 PACE joined 4/5 PACE for a morning of math share. Students worked on their geometry skills comparing different sets of polygons. Students used their chrome books to access an online geoboard to make different shapes! 🐾🙌❤️

Artist Gayle Beard helps 3rd grade students create their Hands on Art project. The project is surrounding the underground railroad and how messages were sewn into quilt to help slaves escape slavery. ❤️

These creative students in Ms. Jardin’s 2nd grade designed & built their own lightsabers using flashlights & other materials. May the force be with you! 🙌😊

It’s so encouraging to see such happy 1st grade faces! Way to go Panthers!!! 🐾🙌

Thank you to Gig Harbor Arts Commission for funding our grant proposal in the amount of $5,000.00 to support the arts at Purdy, Discovery, & Minter Elementary! We look forward to the opportunity! ❤️🙌

A 2nd grade student in Mrs. Marousek’s class shares how she feels on the first day after two years without a mask. 🙌❤️🐾

Students & staff showed smiles, kindness & care as they respected one another’s choice to wear a mask or not. After two years, students described feeling excited, anxious, strange, & happy. It was a day like no other. ❤️🙌🐾

So proud of these students in Ms. Willis’s for cleaning up this courtyard. Now they get to enjoy lunch outside in this beautiful place! Thank you for taking care of our school! ❤️

Students in Kindergarten use sketch books in Art with Ms. Jay to illustrate beautiful flowers! We ❤️ Art! 🙌🐾

These 5th grade Panthers supported animals for their Kindness project. They worked w/ the Gig Harbor community, met with the chief of police, & collected food & toys for the Pierce county Humane Society. 🐾🙌❤️
