A whole crew of teachers, families and community members were shoveling at school today. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow! School starts at 11, our Valentines Day Party will be at 12:30. Look for this tall guy to greet you as you come in the door! ☃️
It looks like we are not going to make it to the 100th Day of Kindergarten this week. Here’s hoping we get to spend Valentine’s Day together!!!

This is an unusual situation as we clean up from the biggest snowstorm in memory. Due to a combination of current road conditions, impacted parking lots, and storm related building repair, there is much to do to assure students and staff can return to school safely.
All PSD sponsored activities are cancelled. Pools are closed.
We have granted permission to West Central District to host basketball playoffs at Gig Harbor and Peninsula High Schools.
Regarding Thursday, we are watching weather conditions closely. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: For 2/5 afternoon, unless you hear otherwise from an advisor or coach, PM activities are "ON."
As student and staff safety is our top priority, all schools will begin two hours late, Tuesday, February 5, due to icy road conditions expected to impact the majority of the District.
School start times:
High Schools: 9:30
Middle Schools: 10:15
Elementary Schools: 11:00 AM
*YMCA childcare is also operating on a 2-hour delay.
Buses will operate on regular bus routes.
There is no AM or PM preschool, ECEAP, or out of district transportation.
West Sound Tech transportation will occur at the regular time.
No AM Lap Swim
A decision will be announced by 2:00 PM. regarding after-school activities sports and the Jazz Festival.
