It's time to sign up for our annual Christmas Dodgeball Tournament! We'd love for as many GHS adults and students as possible to join in the fun this year. Teams can be co-ed, but we ask that students and staff not combine to make teams.
For 2022-2023, we have two guest teams approved to compete:
1. Our HS Adopt A Battalion, 1-395th
2. An invite was also extended for a team at the central office if our Superintendents wish to enter.
Use the link below to sign up for your team and check out the attached flyer for more details. We are also building a playlist so be thinking of a song your team would like to have played during the tournament and include it when you complete the online sign-up form.

What's going on this week at GHS?
The Food For Families Student Lunch will be on Tuesday, November 15th, in the Culinary Room during all 3 lunches. Our art students have made their annual bowls that are available for purchase and the proceeds go to help local families in need! Check out this year's talents! Potato & cheese soup with a bowl is $5.00 and soup only is $2.50.
But wait, there's more! Check out our video announcements to stay in the loop.

Teens today face dangers that we as parents did not experience growing up. On Monday, November 7 at 6:00PM in the GHS Auditorium, Gatesville ISD will present a Parent Information Session on the unique dangers all teens face as well as some specific issues we are experiencing right here in Gatesville. The information in this presentation will be geared toward parents of students in 7th - 12th grades, but all parents are welcome to attend.
In the spirit of giving, GHS has several ways students and staff can support the Food for Families Campaign.
*PIE A PRINCIPAL!! Student Council will be selling feathers to raise money for Food for Families during all three lunches beginning Monday, November 14. Each principal will have a turkey for
you to fill with feathers. The principal with the most feathers will get a pie in the face. More details coming next week.
*PAY OFF YOUR LIBRARY FINES! Food for fines: Students do you owe money for lost or damaged library books? If so,
you can bring cans and other nonperishable food items to the library to pay off your fines. Once your fines are cleared, you can take your items to your homeroom to add to the Food for Families class count. One can equals $1.00. We will be collecting now
through Thanksgiving.
*FILL YOUR BELLY WITH DELICIOUS SOUP! The Food For Families Student Lunch will be on Tuesday, November 15th, in the
Culinary Room during all 3 lunches. Our art students have made their annual bowls that are available for purchase and the proceeds go to help local families in need. Check out this year's talents! A meal with a bowl is $5.00 and soup only is $2.50.

Great job, guys!
