Then check out “Chester Nez and the Unbreakable Code” by for ages 7-10, it tells the story of Native American US Marines who used Navajo language to create an unbreakable military code

We are celebrating with reading recommendations for you and your 📚
The first one, “Dragon boy” by is a great read for ages 4-8. A curious, little boy, Tangtong, full of empathy and joy, he loves to be a dragon and go on adventures with his stuffed animals. He is comfortable in who he is and where he is from—a kid being a kid with a creative imagination 🐉
After reading, why not take your child’s favorite stuffy out exploring. You could go to the playground, grocery store, or even a walk around the neighborhood. As Dragonboy says, “the best part of an adventure is being with ones who know you best” 🫶

Spend a Thursday with Papa and his granddaughter—they made every moment special in book, “Our Favorite Day” great for ages 3-6, and plan a special day for your family too ☀️
In “Black is a Rainbow Color” by the color black evokes a deeper sentiment about incredible people who have helped to change the world (ages 3-8). Try creating a picture using only black and see just how beautiful this color is 🖤🌈

Continuing our reading recommendations is a book by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomeyer and award-winning artist “Just Ask: Be Different, Be Brave, Be You” ❤️
A great read for ages 4-7, it talks about how different types of plants and flowers make a garden more beautiful and enjoyable, just like different types of people make our world more vibrant and wonderful 🧡
After reading this book together, ask your if they have ever felt different. Then, celebrate your differences by drawing them like petals on a flower 🌺
