FVHS friends...Almost all of 2nd shift activities do not have volunteers to keep the activity open. As Entertainment Chair, I would feel horrible if I had to close down activities but will have to if more people do not step up. Many of the activities require us contractually to have volunteers. Getting enough help for set up and clean up is always a problem, but we've never had a problem filling the night of the events! PLEASE spread the word to anyone you know who may be willing to help - anyone over 21 can do it! It's such a great event for the Grads and even fun for the volunteers (plus, we'll feed you!) :)
Thank you!!

FVHS Grad Night | A Spectacular & Safe Celebration

Grad Night Message For All FVHS Parents from FVHS Principal Dr. Smith

The preparation for Grad Night is in full swing! There are 42 Grand Prizes this year--to give you a taste of what's in store, we have a smart TV, paddle board, apple watches, Disneyland passes, computers, gaming systems, plus $3000 cash in the money machine, and prizes for 1st place games throughout the night! If you didn't have a chance to purchase your ticket, students must bring their student ID, consent form and $150 CASH to the door, which is open from 9-10:30 pm after the graduation ceremony.

There is still a large number of volunteers needed to work the event in the middle of the night--we don't want the party to fizzle out--we want it to live up to our theme, "Knight of Our Lives!" Volunteers over the age of 21 are welcome to help. Just go to our website, www.fvhsgradnight.com, and click on Volunteer tab. You'll see the many areas of service--volunteers are most need in the Attractions, Game Booths, and Casino to help out.

A final plea for volunteers (strong boys and men needed) this Tuesday at 4 pm to set up laser tag in the cafeteria, and game booths outside, and Wednesday from 12:30 - 8:30. It's difficult for many senior parents to help out because of the graduation ceremony, so underclassman parents are especially needed.
Grad Night thanks the many volunteers who came out this weekend and who signed up, without whose help we could not provide this safe and wonderful graduation celebration for our deserving students.

Principal, Fountain Valley High School
