Welcome to Dr. William Cratty, who will be teaching History and Appreciation of Music for Korea EBUS students in January. He graduated summa cm laude with M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Theory/Composition from the University of California at Riverside and San Diego, respectively. He also graduated magna cm laude in theory/composition and piano at San Francisco State University In addition to teaching and playing piano professionally, Dr. Cratty is a composer, arranger, orchestrator, published writer, and college instructor for more than twenty years. He currently teaches at various colleges in California online and face-to-face courses covering a wide variety of disciplines; e.g., Beginning and Intermediate Piano, Beginning and Advanced Music Theory and Musicianship, World Music, Music Appreciation, The Beatles, Rock and Roll History, and Jazz History.

Denise Lorenzo, our EBUS Instructional Liason, is busy in Seoul and Busan this week meeting with interested parents and students for EBUS. She recently met with the US consulate in Seoul to create awareness for our program and students. Thanks Denise!

Hello from Korea EBUS students!

Thank you to Dr. Lisa Lee who taught Math 160 this semester to Korean students. Lisa has been teaching at Coastline for 13 years. She is the current Mathematics Department Chair and serves on the Academic Senate and Student Success Task Force Committee as well. We look forward to her teaching for EBUS again in the future.

Natasha Shoro is our Art 101 instructor currently teaching for EBUS via online to our Chinese students. In January, she will be teaching ART again to our Korean students. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with honors and distinction from Iowa State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking from California State University, Fullerton. She has worked as a Professional Fine Artist since over 22 years and as a Graphic Designer specializing in Logo Design and Corporate Identity packages. She is passionate towards teaching her students a variety of art concepts, media and techniques. Her goal is to enhance the life of each and every student with exposure to art, architecture and creative thinking. Thanks for teaching Natasha!

Heather Oh is currently serving as an academic counselor for our EBUS program in Korea. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from UCI in 2006 and earned a M.A. in School Counseling from USC in 2011. Through various workshops and individual counseling sessions, she helps students establish their educational plans and career goals. Welcome Heather!

Brian Chow is an accounting instructor for Coastline Community College and will be teaching Accounting 100 online in November for EBUS Korea students. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago and grew up in Queens, New York. In June 2002, he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Redlands and then was hired to teach Financial & Managerial accounting for the University of Redlands. Thereafter, he began teaching accounting at Golden West College, Orange Coast College and Coastline Community College. Welcome Brian!
