19 THINGS TO ENHANCE OUR LIVING BETTER!

With all the troubles in the world we often look around for someone to blame. It's got to be someone's fault after all: some corrupt government, misplaced ideal, fanaticism, critical error or some shady dealing has caused the failure, conflict, poverty or war. And generally it's the same with our relationships when things go wrong - someone is to blame,
probably our partner/spouse or their family, or maybe we are prepared to say it was our fault. The world's view is, it's got to be someone's fault. May I suggest to you it is NOT about fault;
it is CHOICE!

Every day we make many decisions that can either make our life better or worse. Everything from how to go about our day, what to wear, what to eat, what to do, what not to do, how to feel, how not to feel, what to choose what not to choose, etc., etc. Some decisions are a piece of cake and other decisions take great wisdom.

As believers, we seek the Lord and his wisdom to make the best decision. The Bible provides us with a great deal of advice on decision making. The choice of which decision to make will always be ours as individuals because of the cross of Christ which guarantees us this right.

Everyone needs to be inspired from time to time. Without a doubt, life can be difficult, and it can be tough. It's often complex, too.
In life, there are so many issues to deal with, so many problems to solve, and so many obstacles to overcome.
There are aspects of life relating to self. We pursue happiness. We wish to improve our self esteem and self love. We want to attain success. We wish to create wealth. We want to be healthy. We seek meaning and fulfillment. Some want to be spiritual, to maintain steady spiritual growth, to discover and understand self, to embrace personal development and self improvement.
There are problems we need to deal with. Such as depression, grief, anger. There are also lifestyle issues.
There are aspects of life which relate to the people and the world around us. Relationship issues. Marriage issues. Parenthood and Family issues. Love, romance and relationship issues.
Doing our part to minimize the damage to our living environment, The Earth we must also consider.
How about work and career? Being successful. Making money. Improving our efficiency and productivity. Self motivation. Reaching our fullest potential. Motivating others.
The list can go on and on.
What complicates matters is that issues can often seem to be at odds, and create tension. Spiritual gurus tell us that contentment is the path to happiness. Success gurus tell us to reach for the sky, to set bigger goals and attain them. How do we strike a balance?
It is all achieved through blood bought CHOICE!

1) Find Reasons To Agree
Rather than disagree. We have this mindset of competition which makes constantly arguing over things. Well, stop that. You don’t have to force yourself into agreement, if it’s not the case, just trying to find some reasons will be enough.

2) Train Your Focus

Your focus is in fact your reality. Use it wisely. Focus is a silent choice that sooner or latter will make a noisy debut into our quality and longevity of life. Train your FOCUS constantly for it will enhance your reality in ways you never imagined. Keep your focus sharp as a razor blade and be prepared to experience life in fantastic shapes and colors.
Ephesians 5:14-16 ESV
For anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

Surrendering one's whole life: needs, worries, pains, joys, praises. Surrendering the physical, the emotional, the mental, and the spiritual. Consider the following verses: Romans 12:1 (NLT): "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?" Luke 9:23: "Then he said to the crowd, 'If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life.'" Romans 6:13: "Do not let any part of your body become a tool of wickedness, to be used for sinning. Instead, give yourselves completely to God since you have been given new life. And use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God."

3) Find Reasons To Love Your Life

Maybe life hasn't been fair with you. Many a times, that is just how it is.... life is seldom fair. But it is fantastic. It’s unique, unrepeatable, one of a kind, beautiful, simple, challenging, sweet, hard… Just take a step back and find reasons to love your life as it is and commit to change where it is needed through CHOICE.
1 Peter 3:10 ESV
For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;

Colossians 3:12-14 (Message)
So,chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.

4) Try Something New

Maybe you’re sad because you’re bored. Have you ever thought about that? Just reach out and try something completely new. Go for a challenge, learn a new sport, try playing the ukulele, pick a different restaurant or go for a comedy movie (if you’re the drama type). Newness spices life. After all is that not a powerful reason that God would give us new mercies every morning. It is exciting how God will move us forward each day through our choice and his choice.

5) Avoid Fighting

Fighting is the biggest energy leak of your being. Trying to prove another person's wrong is so against our true nature. We simply shine ourselves openly as a symbol of light and truth. Uncover options and solicit Heavenly help to bring about change through choice. Life is filled with signs, wonders, miracles, and awe inspiring moments. We embrace them through choice.
Each person has choice and that is life according to Jesus.

6) Stop Wasting Your Power!
Choice is power!
Are you doing something that you shouldn’t be doing right now? Well, that’s wasted CHOICE; wasted power. That’s meaningless stuff promoted to the honor of being a part of your life. Why waste power? Why waste choice?

7) Experiment Gratitude

When was the last time you said “thank you”? With all your heart? Everybody knows that an attitude of gratitude is the key to life and success. Yet, almost nobody practices it. Well, start by experience gratitude first, and take it from there. Learn to thank God for all things and thank folk for saying yes to God for your benefit.
Choose to express thanks for the big and the small.

8) Stop Complaining

Complaining is like an open invitation for troubles. The more you complain about something, the more of that something you invite into your life. Cut it out. You don’t get any comfort out of complaining, only troubles.

9) Being Is Better Than Having

Too much and too often we shape our life’s fulfillment degree to the amount we possess. The fundamental mistake. If you’re doing it, stop it right now. You’re not what you’re having. Being is so much better than having.

10) Laugh

This time is not about smiling. It’s about laughing. Don’t you ever miss another opportunity to laugh. Especially at yourself. The longer your laughing sessions, the shorter your misery ones. Looks like a nice deal, isn’t it?

11) You must be a Reader
All great leaders are avid readers.
Folk who desire to grow spiritually and intellectually will be constantly reading books.
You must read for inspiration and motivation.
Read to sharpen your skills.
Read to learn from others.
Read to stay current in a constantly changing world.

Analyze your reading habits to see what you’ve read and what you really need to read.
Be intentional about scheduling time for reading, read snippets of books.
Balance your reading. Read broadly. Include people you don’t agree with. This is how we are stretched.
Mark up your books and take notes. If you use a reading app, make highlights and store them.
Know what not to read. Know your favorite authors, read the covers and tables of contents and the bibliographies to see if the book is worth your time.
Read book reviews and book summaries to process even more books in less time.
Build your library. Whether you prefer print or ebooks, collect a library to reference and to leave behind.
The Bible is our number one priority in reading. You can get so caught up in reading other books that you don’t read the Bible. RESIST THIS TEMPTATION, Make time for God’s Word before reading anything else. But do READ OTHER STUFF. IT WILL CREATE BALANCE AND BUILD BRIDGES OF COMMUNICATION needed to spread the gospel. It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

If you want to be a growing leader of a healthy movement and maintain a healthy and balance life, keep reading. It’s the only way to stay out front.

Paul wrote his second letter to Timothy in prison. At the end of the letter he tells Timothy, “When you come, bring my coat, bring the books, too, and especially the ones made of parchment.” (2 Timothy 4:13. ) At the end of his life, while in prison, Paul wants two things… “I want my coat and I want my books.”
Paul is inspired, yet he wants books. He has been preaching at least thirty years, yet he wants books. He’s seen the Lord, yet he wants books. He’s had a wider experience than most men, yet he wants books. He’s been caught up to heaven and has heard things that are unlawful to utter, yet he wants books. He’s written a major part of the New Testament, yet he wants books.

12) Go With Passion

Don’t let your rational mind stand in the way of your passion. If you found – or at least felt, even occasionally – something that thrills you, you’re there. You don’t need a confirmation on this from anybody. Go with your passion.

13) Stop Lying

To others and to yourself. Although it might ease a complicated situation, a lie is not good in the long run. The trick is that if you’re telling a lie you’re altering your reality. And a distorted reality will be impossible to handle.

14) Stop Reacting To Stuff

And start acting on stuff. Initiate things. Start projects. Predict situations and be there before the hurricane hits. Reacting to stuff is a victim paradigm. Stop being a victim and start acting. Create your life instead of being the creation of others.

15) Live Today

Not yesterday, not tomorrow. Go for what you can do today and leave yesterday behind for good. It’s not here anymore. And tomorrow doesn’t even exist yet, so why bother. All you have is today. Don’t waste it.

16) Expect The Unexpected

If there’s something unusual that happens to you, go for it. The unexpected is a signal of an opportunity. It will not always be nice, this unexpected, but whenever it’s around, spiritual things are happening. Wait for it. Praise for it.

17) Enjoy

Like being in joy. Like giving permission to yourself to extract joy from any situation you’re in. Even if it’s bad. Or especially if it’s bad. Joy is everywhere, you just have to let it manifest through you. Don’t resist joy. Don’t reject it.

18) Love

Choose to love Unconditionally. Totally. Constantly. Restlessly. Love is the only glue that keeps your life running. You were born out of love and you carry it deep down in your being. Love is never about the others, it’s always about you. Who you are and who you are becoming.

19) No Regrets

Regretting something is another form of not accepting reality. What you can do about it now? It’s gone. It doesn’t exist anymore. Repent for mistakes and Focus on what you can change: your present moment. Not yesterday, not tomorrow. Now. Live now.

As Christians we,
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. Proverbs 11:14

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 1 John 5:14

[07/25/17]   We must get serious about our health. Reasonably good health is required to endure the work of the ministry. Ministry can be draining on the body, soul and spirit. As much as lies within you, take care of you total health; spirit, soul, and body.

Our body operates at its best in an alkalized environment. Pay attention. Listen to your body.

Alkalizer
Lemons are acidic but when eaten, they have an alkalizing and purifying effect on the blood. Acid forming diet, emotional stress, toxic overload, and/or immune reactions or any process that deprives the cells of oxygen and other nutrients. Normally the diet should consist of 60% alkaline forming foods and 40% acid forming foods. To restore health, the diet should consist of 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid forming foods.
