In celebration, we have 2 free events scheduled to honor Mother Earth.
Thursday, April 21, 4-5pm - a Master Gardener will be coming to FCA to guide you through making seed bombs! Perfect for spreading native plants in your area 😊
Saturday, April 23, 4-5pm - Bryan Fritts will be at our forge doing 2 free public demos on how to blacksmith with recycled materials. Bryan is a talented blacksmith, eager to share his knowledge of how to reclaim and repurpose our everyday items at the forge!

If you've ever seen all the beautiful pottery in Floyd and wanted to try creating some yourself, this is the class for you. Brandi will walk students through the techniques to create a variety of projects and build a knowledge base of handbuilding.

Contentment-Containment by Zoe Zimmerman is one of the featured photographs in the Appalachian Center for Photography's current exhibition.
Zoe Zimmerman lives in Taos, New Mexico and has created a renowned photography career for herself over the span of years.
ACP is open to the public Friday - Sunday 10am-2pm, or by appointment. The current exhibition will be on display until June 10. ACP is located next to FCA.

Our studio features 6 wheels, several hand building stations, a slab roller, and a variety of glazes and tools. It's the perfect space to connect with other potters and to work on your own projects.
