I've taken some time to reflect on my life and how much I'm blessed, and I've decided that I'm being called to volunteer my time with other causes on Saturdays (cuddling homeless senior dogs and providing respite care for foster children), and I want to be back in church on Sundays. Thank you for letting me play a small role in helping your children succeed in their college careers. I feel honored with all the success I've had and helped the kids to have, but it's time for me to move on and serve in a different capacity.

I will be taking a break from tutoring this summer until fall. The end of the year at work is very busy, and we will be traveling quite a bit. Enjoy your summer everyone!
Winter is here, and there's more time for tutoring. I have three openings for December/January on Saturdays and Sundays Please recommend me to a friend. Thanks!
My students are reporting that the last ACT was ridiculously hard. Do not panic. Usually an easier one follows! If you know someone who needs prep for the December test, send them my way please. I still have a couple of openings in November.

For all of my old students: Remember Ada Lovelace from English practice test 1? I am at the Science Center playing ping pong, and this story description went along with the explanation of algorithms for ping pong! Neat!

My students are doing a great job improving their scores for the upcoming July test! My assistant is a great helper too!

The June scores are rolling in, and people are happy! I am very pleased. It always makes my day when families share the results with me. Some anonymous examples. I do not take an ounce of credit for math.

News like this is always exciting!
A student just went from a 16 in English to a 24 after 3 sessions! I'd say that's progress!

Everyone's favorite therapy dog, Archie, just received a perfect 36 after 15 years of ACT tutoring. Congratulations buddy!

My life isn't all ACT tutoring. By day, I teach high school kiddos. It's prom spirit week, and yesterday was Anything but a Backpack Day! They make me smile!!
I have openings starting June 19th. I am very flexible on dates and times this summer.
Congrats to Daniel on hitting his goal scholarship score! I am so proud of you, and I can't wait to see which engineering school you choose! #30+
I still have lots of availability this summer! Did someone say summer? I can't wait!
I am opening up my calendar now, and I am ready to schedule new students to prepare for the April ACT. Start dates should be early February for adaquate preparation time. If you know someone who is interested in ACT prep, please share this post. Thanks for supporting my small business!

Today we honor all of our military veterans. Thank you for your service.
Did you know that for the best results and a higher score, ACT tutoring should start EIGHT weeks in advance of the test? Many students who have achieved a 30+ worked with me for six to eight weeks. If you know someone with a high school junior, please invite them to like my page.

When my students are stressed out, they turn to my therapy dogs, Archie and Bella. I always know if a student is struggling on a section when one of my dogs randomly jumps in their lap! Sure enough, some cuddles are what they need to get refocused. Bella got a new bow tonight, and Archie tried it on too for fun.
All of the October slots have been filled at this time except Sundays from 9-11. Thanks for recommending me to others. I still have lots of availability for November to help kids prepare for the December 11th test.
I have three slots available starting in October if your child needs help preparing for the December ACT.
Things are slowing down getting closer to the July ACT. Do you know someone who is interested in tutoring? Please share my page with them. Thanks!

News like this is the best!! This is one of my students who started at a 25 in reading and a 17 in English!

Two students recently reached their goals of low 30s, so they have moved on! Congrats!

Happy last full week of school!

We are celebrating my son's 8th grade graduation this weekend!

A snapshot of what we do and goals being met!

Big Bertha, the clock that we all have mixed feelings about, finally has new batteries! The kids are excited! Haha.

This is where the high 20s and 30s happen.
I am creating my summer/fall schedule now. If you or someone you know is interested in tutoring, please reach out. I am a certified language arts and history teacher, and I also hold special education certification if anyone is looking for year round help in those areas. Please share this post. Thanks to everyone who likes my page!
Lots of scores in the
30s flying around lately! I'll take it!
Alert!! Spots are filling very quickly around St. Louis for the June and July ACTs, especially the ones without the writing portion. If your child still needs to sign up, please do so quickly!

Hi, former and current families! Thank you for leaving such glowing reviews. I forgot to ask for people to leave "star ratings." I think this will help with getting my search results into Google searches. If you could please click the stars, that would be most helpful. Thank you!

I have one virtual slot open on Tuesdays from 5-6, and a two hour virtual or in person slot open for Fridays right now, which is not popular for obvious reasons (haha), but I am open to it because I love ACT prep! Let me know if your child is interested.
