Pre-SOMA members! Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine is coming to Mason to join Pre-SOMA for our second meeting of the semester! Kaitlyn Gardenhire, Admissions Recruiter and Counselor at CUSOM, will be joining us as a guest speaker to talk about Campbell's Osteopathic Medical program this Wednesday, and will be answering any questions you may have on their program, admissions, application process, and more.

- Pre-SOMA Officers

Pre-SOMA members! We are collaborating with MAPS GMU Chapter alongside AMSA Pre-Medical Chapter at GMU on Tuesday April 5th from 4:30-5:30 PM in JC Room C. Two guest speakers will join us: Dr. Alison Case and Zahara Heckscher.

Ms. Heckscher is a cancer survivor and advocates for the rights of cancer patients. She will share her story with cancer and the impact of trade agreements, like the TPP, on access to medicine for patients. Additionally, Dr. Alison Case will talk about how YOU can get involved in advocacy for patients as there are many opportunities available for students, especially since we are located in the DC area!

Food and refreshments will be provided. Everyone who's interested in the topic is welcome to attend.

Hey Everyone, hope your semester is going well! Due to the snow days our first interest meeting had to be rescheduled.
Out first General Body Meeting will be held tomorrow,
February 29th, in JC Room B, from 5-6.
We will be discussing plans for the semester, going over the point system, and doing an overview of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as answering questions and taking suggestions for future meetings.
