Now that our courses have moved to an online format, we are no longer limited to students who live in Northern Virginia. We now have students from Maryland, Florida, and even as far away as Ukraine! Quick Start/Late-Registration for Online Course Targeting the March 2021 SAT:
Because our SAT Course starts this weekend, we will have to move quickly for any family who would like to register late. Usually, we try to offer as much flexibility regarding dates and times as possible for the items below, but with a class start this weekend, we have to work fast! While there is no additional fee to register late, in order to do so, families must be able to make the timeline below work.
• Students complete Test 10, Sections 1 and 3 (90 minutes of homework) and submit answers by 5 PM on Thursday.
• Students attend Mandatory Student Orientation on Thursday from 5 to 6 PM
• Parents attend Mandatory Parent Orientation on Monday, January 18, from 6 to 7 PM (for New Parents) OR Monday, January 25 (for Returning Parents)

If the quick-start above is not possible, we would love to have you in our class targeting the June SAT, which starts Sunday, April 11 (with orientations to occur mid-March.)

Juniors, registration for our eight-week online course targeting the March SAT begins this month. Priority registration for students who attended our summer SAT/ACT Jump Start Camps will take place October 1-15. Registration for those on our interest list will begin October 15. We are looking forward to making this the best online course your student has ever attended!

We are no longer accepting new seniors for test prep at this time. If you have already worked with us as a junior, we have Rev Up Classes available for the September and October SAT test dates.

Students can choose any camp from the options below, and each day of camp starts at 1 PM:

We hosted a great online parent information session on Sunday for parents of our students who prepped with us for the March SAT. We had over 100 participants join the online session. Angela shared updates about SAT and ACT dates and how Mindworks will be supporting our students to prepare. This coming Sunday, we will be hosting another meeting for the parents of our students who were targeting the May and June SAT (and any March SAT parent who was unable to participate last Sunday). All parents of students in our programs have received an email with details—please reply to that email if you’d like to join next Sunday’s session. We can’t wait to connect with you all again!

SAT/ACT Jump Start Camp – Individual Tutoring and SAT/ACT Prep Classes

Sophomores: Registration for our summer SAT/ACT Jump Start Camps is now open!
SAT/ACT Jump Start Camp is offered multiple times this summer so that students can select the week that works best for them.
If we are unable to hold camp due to an extension of the stay-at-home order, we will absolutely move your registration to a later camp (week of your choice) OR issue a full refund!
Alternatively, you are welcome to register now and hold payment until the camp actually begins, and if at any point you decide to withdraw your registration, you are welcome to do so.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 10 AM-1 PM
Students can choose any one week from the options below:

Announcement for families taking the March SAT: some of our students have had their March 14 SAT canceled. Those students should reserve a seat in the May SAT as soon as possible (or June SAT, if the May SAT date does not work) before schools fill up due to an influx of March students rescheduling their tests. If your child’s test has been rescheduled instead of canceled, then there is no need to register for a May SAT at this point. Once we determine the final number of students affected, we will determine the best plan to support our students as they prepare for their re-scheduled SAT. Though the cancellation is not ideal, we will stick with your family throughout the journey!
