Congratulation to Lisa our little graduate and all my other preschoolers for a fun and successful 2015/16 preschool year! Once again I feel blessed to have witness the growth in each of my students this year and thankful for such wonderful, loving parents. 👏💖

What better way to celebrate our last day of preschool then with a pajama & Care Bear movie ice cream social!!!! So much fun! Never a dull moment at Little Hands...love these kiddos.

Happy Teacher Appreciation week! I am blessed to be part of a profession that allows me to play, be silly, and help little ones grow. I am thankful for building such great relationship with my students families and for them entrusting their precious gem to me. I'm grateful to have met so many passionate teachers and fortunate enough to mentor them. I'm honored to work with a great team of child assessors that are helping improve instruction in the Universal Prek classrooms. Teaching is a work of Heart

Ive been asked so what exactly does it take to be a great teacher? Of course, credential, knowledge, creativity, experience, and a great observer. However, it takes more then just all those mentioned. A teacher needs to be kind, compassionate, emphatic, positive, is a strong relationships builder, patient, and an inspiration to others. Therefore, I say it takes a lot of heart to be a great teacher.

Teachers should let children creativity flourish everyday. Purple theme today. The children were given the same materials to make the same character, with no instruction just to use their imagination to make it. They turned out so adorable and unique! So although same materials were used, each child made their creation their very own and they were so proud too! Creativity helps build confidence, always.

Today we celebrated Week of the Young Child by inviting our Dads to come play with us and have a donut! Thanks for visiting and playing with us at school dads! 👱🏽👔💼🍩☕️🎨

Im thankful for all the great things we did this month at Little Hands! Today I want to wish that you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with love, laughter, bonding time, and yummy food. Don't forget to cherish every moment with your little ones, they grow so fast! This Christmas just sit down, listen, and watch them play and then use your imagination and join their adventure. He'll probably stay "Frozen" like a snowman then he will ask for "warm hugs, but there's not a footprint to be seen," so For the First Time in Forever", he will "stuff chocolate in his face" but then he will "Let it Go" because these children are worth freezing for....❄️☃

It's anniversary week at Little Hands Enrichment Preschool! Yeay! July 18th 2015 marks, the 4th year of the opening of my childcare business. This was the official date when Little Hands Enrichment preschool became licensed and when my "daycare room"(upstairs) was moved and transformed into my amazing and colorful classroom today.
