The best part of May was watching our awesome Pre-Ks graduate. Our young graduates looked absolutely adorable in their little gowns. Although we'll miss them, we're excited for their new journey to Kindergarten.
We know that every single one of them will make us proud. Pre-Ks, you have the love and support of the LadyBug team!

We are pleased to announce that our Arlington Courthouse location is finally open! We will be hosting an Open House on May 20th (Saturday) from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The location is 2500 Wilson Blvd, Arlington VA 22201.

We have a summer theme planned for the children that includes face painting, balloon twisting, as well as an ice-cream truck! Spread the word around, we look forward to seeing you with your friends and family there!!

As we reach the end of Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to thank our wonderful clients for making it so special for the Teachers. Thank you for all the flowers, presents, and never ending treats throughout the week. Your generosity matters a lot to us all and we're grateful for all the appreciation shown to us. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫😊

After a long wait, our Arlington Courthouse location is officially opening on Monday, May 8th!
We are beyond excited to start operations at this Center.

This week, LadyBug Academy participated in various Ramadan projects with the children and celebrated World Down Syndrome Day.

We are beyond grateful for all the teamwork 🌙⭐️🥰

This week was all about celebrating our happy Teachers, leading to happier classrooms! 🥰

LadyBug Academy 1 will be completing its 4 years this March! This is truly a proud moment for us all, especially as we’re expanding and opening a third location in Arlington.

We would like to extend our appreciation for your continued support and trust in us. This is a milestone for us all!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Ladybug Team! We’re enjoying a feast here to celebrate Thanksgiving. Hope you are too!

On behalf of the Ladybug team, we would like to thank all participants for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. We collected over 200 individual items to donate to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). Your generosity is greatly appreciated! ☺️

This week was all about our communities! Our teachers discussed with the children about the importance of our community workers i.e. nurses 👩🏾‍⚕️, construction workers👷🏽‍♂️, teachers 👩🏻‍🏫 and many more! We applied our discussions with the kiddos into the classroom with the use of social/emotional activities (matching emotions), language development (matching letters to community workers), and cognitive skills (matching the job to the community workers)!

As Thanksgiving approaches the kiddos discussed what they are thankful for this week. Through the use of crafts, math and literature the kids expanded their knowledge of what Thanksgiving really means! 🦃

There’s so many things to be thankful for like our family and friends ♥️! Also this week we celebrate Veterans Day teaching and reminding the kids the importance of those who served and are currently serving this country. From all the staff and kiddos at Ladybug we would like to thank everyone who has served this country!

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be! This week the kiddos discussed friendship and how important it is. The kids worked together to create fun projects, and the teacher discussed how important it is to be kind to each other and to always help a friend in need! 🤗

Happy Halloween from all of us at ladybug👻! This weeks theme was Halloween and the kids celebrated by doing spooky crafts, and dressing up!

As we continue to get closer to Halloween, the kids are getting excited! This week’s theme was pumpkins. Each class decorated their own pumpkins, worked on their writing skills and practiced math all with the help of fun fall activities!

Nature is the way that children get to experience the world🌳🍂. This week the kiddos learned about nature! We talked about the animals that live in forests, rivers and lakes, and even bugs!

This week we continued to welcome Fall!🍂 The kiddos sung their favorite Halloween songs, made fall crafts and worked on teamwork!

It’s finally Autumn🍂 This week our kiddos worked on gross motor skills, fine motor skills and team work! And to celebrate the arrival of Autumn we helped our kids pick apples!

We are thankful for our pets real and furry ones, because they complete our family! During this week we talked about and showed our friends what kinda of pets we have at home and our favorite animals🐱🐶

Family is a gift that lasts forever 🥰! This week we had our kiddos talk about what family means to them and how they spend time with their families as well!

This week we got to know even more about each other during our theme “All about me”. The kiddos where able to show us what they like and what they don’t, their favorite colors, food, toys, etc... And what they want to be once they grow up!

We are so excited to be back to school ! This week the kids shared and talked about why being back to school is so important and how fun it is 🍎!

There may be sunny skies but it is time to learn about clouds! This week we got to learn a ton of different things that relate to clouds like their shapes, textures, etc. We had so much fun learning and experimenting with new things!

🍃🍂Gentle breezes🍂🍃 This week our kiddos learned about wind through activities that involved science, literature, and gross motor activities!

Big big news!! We are happy to announce that Ladybug Academy 2 is now open for business! This would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the support of our wonderful staff and Ladybug families!

We can not express how grateful we truly are for all of the love and support we have received over the course of us opening! We cannot wait to see what this new chapter will bring us! 😊❤️

Rain, Rain go away 🌧! This week was really dark and wet outside but that didn’t stop us from having lots of fun! We learned a lot about the rain through math, sensory activities and experiments.

Even when this week has been full of cloudy skies, that has not stoped us from learning about our sun and solar system! 🌞This week at school we used arts and crafts, books, yoga and more to learn about outer space!

Learning about water is a lot more fun when you get to play in it! This week our kiddos leaned about water through activities like drawing with water and water colors, enjoying educational videos and playing in their own sensory bins!

During this week the kids learned about lakes, and how important they are to the environment. All of this while catching fishes building boats and doing yoga! What a great week!

This weeks theme was all about the beach! Our kiddos learned about animals that are at the beach, ocean zones, and activities we do at the beach. Our teachers reinforced math skills , art and literature during this fun week.

This weeks theme was Deep Ocean. Our kiddos learned about our ocean animals, with the use of yoga, sign language and more!

This week the kiddos got to make their very own pet rock. They decorated them the way they wanted, and they even made houses for them too! All of them did such an amazing job! Also we would like to wish everyone a happy 4th of July! 😊
