We have an announcement about great opportunity for anyone who is interested. On March 8th, AcademyHealth and NCHE will be co-hosting an all day Networking/Panel discussion event at Founders Hall on the GMU Arlington campus. The panelists include professors and healthcare leaders who will be discussing topics such as: Ensuring your community’s emergency preparedness, Employing social media to build customer satisfaction and community outreach, Sustaining a financially vibrant healthcare organization, and Successfully leading change in a healthcare organization. The event is $50 for students, $100 for ACHE, $140 for non-members, & $180 for entry at the door. The fir st 15 students who volunteer will receive free admission. Thank you to those of you who came out and attended the NIH visit yesterday. We hope that you enjoyed the trip and learned some new things. Our next event will be a Happy Hour/Prospective Member Info Session. This is a great chance to network and meet new people and learn about upcoming events including opportunities to get involved in our Spring Educational Event "Shaping the Future of Healthcare: Readiness, Change and Innovation."
