What a fun night of wool judging. We are excited to have some new kids wool judging this year.

We also bid on and won a great big rubber tub with a whole bunch of goodies in it. I will try to take a picture tomorrow. Think of Mary Poppin's bag. The stuff just keep coming out. Gloves, movie, water bottles (really nice ones), charger, deicer/heater, halter, lotion.... had some beef jerky until Ian found it!

We bought this delicious carrot cake at our club cake auction last night. Wendell it is delicious! We hit the jackpot with this treat.

JOIN US FRIDAY Your all invited!!! The Evanston 4-H Junior Leaders are hosting a flashlight Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. at North Elementary Playground for all 4-H families. So dress warm, bring your flashlight and come hunt some eggs. If you have any questions contact Becki at 677-1036 or Suzette at 679-2305 or the Extension Office at 783-0570. ALL 4-H FAMILIES ARE INVITED.

Hey everyone 4-H Curriculum and educational materials are on sale for 25% off April 1-30. These materials will help with your projects and contests related to various projects, especially animal projects. The price is reasonable. Most projects have a Leader guide, and beginner, intermediate and senior levels. The whole kit is generally about $25 per project before discount. I have a lot of the curriculum and you are welcome to look at it before you decide. I also have a lot a beginner books that I will sell for $5 each.

Hey kids...here is the 4-H creed. We have a county contest for memorizing and reciting the creed. I think it will be in June. I am sure I will be corrected if I have any wrong information. I will post more info as I come across it.

The Saddle Tramps 4-H Club will be having there Cake Auction Fundraiser February 10 @ 7:00pm at the Beeman Cash Building!! There will be more things there than just goodies!! There will be all kinds of greats crafts auctioned off! Please come support the Saddle Tramps 4-H kids!!!

Hey kids!!!!! Remember to write last nights community service project in your record books. If you need any help with your record books or projects let me know. I have curriculum for most projects and if I can't help I'll try to find you some help. Let's make this our best year ever!

Great first meeting taking place right now! Meetings planned, Christmas Party, "Fun"draiser planned, and currently working in our first community service project. We hit the ground running!!!!

I am happy to help any club members with their poultry projects. Now is the time to get the basics down before you get your birds :) let me know if you are interested and we can set up some project meetings.

4-H Mall has curriculum on sale until 10/31/16. 20% off

4-H Record Book Options - The 4-H Council is excited to announce that this year's prize for getting a gold on your 4-H record book is to come enjoy a movie at the new movie theater in Evanston on the 4-H exclusive showing day. The movie theater will be open on a Saturday morning for a movie day just for our 4-H kids. Or if you do not want to go to the movie, you can select the 4-H prize. To get a gold youth have one of two options this year - 1. they can complete one project page and one entry in each section of their portfolio or 2. complete an experience in the new on-line record book that Uinta County is piloting. If youth choice option 2 they will need to print off documentation they have entered information in the electronic record book. If you have any question please contact the Extension Office at 783-0570. 4-H record books are due next Tuesday, Sept. 13 in order to be eligible for either of the above prizes.

Friendly Reminder - Uinta County Fair Junior Livestock Sale buyer thank you letters are due into the Fair Office by September 1st. So if you sold an animal at the Junior Livestock Sale you must turn in a thank you note. Your letter must be addressed to your buyer, have your name and return address, must be stamped. You may seal it, but ONLY if you have your name on the envelope to get the proper credit for submitting it.

4-H Project curriculum is on sale at the 4-H Mall April 1-30. There is s 25% discount on curriculum and educational kits. Anyone can order and once you order you will be on their mailing list and you will be notified when they have flash sales on various items in the catalog and you will receive catalogs as they are published. I have a lot of the curriculum if you would like to see it before buying it.
