UTRGV Department of History is hosting a guest talk at the Edinburg campus Tuesday.

Dr. Kelly Lytle Hernández will give the talk "The Whites-Only Immigration Regime," on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 630pm. It will be in-person in Edinburg in ESCNE 2.108 and shown virtually in Brownsville in BSABH 1.102. Hope to see you there!

Our Story

CMAS is the Center of Mexican American Studies at UTRGV. It supports MAS majors, minors and Graduate students as well as faculty who study the political, artistic, cultural, social and economic conditions and contributions of Mexican Americans, within a historical and contemporary context with a focus on social justice.

CMAS provides programming, research opportunities and community engagement in the field of Mexican American Studies.
