Chinese single herbs and combined formulas have been used for thousands of years to support the healing of many diseases. Herbs are especially helpful with supporting the resolution of chronic conditions. We recommend using herbs for faster relief.

During an herbal and nutritional consultation, we'll ask you questions about your lifestyle, diet, activity levels, and what your main complaints are. Then, we'll suggest an herbal treatment and nutritional plan that's tailored to your unique self. Our herbal formulas are patented formulas only, which means we don't brew up anything in-house or make our own concoctions. These are tried and true formulas that come in tablets or granules.

A lot of patients tell us that they’ve tried everything for their illness. Many patients we see have been through intensive therapy, prescription drugs, or physical therapy with no or little results. Chronic conditions like pain, PTSD, or depression respond very well to acupuncture – and our clients are usually surprised when they begin feeling better after 2 or 3 visits. So, what's the secret sauce?

Instead of relying on external sources of healing like prescription medication, acupuncture activates the body's own healing system to bring the body back into balance. Your organs, your cells, your blood - your whole body's purpose is to keep you alive and well. In a disease state, the body is thrown out of balance, and can manifest uncomfortable physical symptoms just to keep everything functioning, albeit not as smoothly!

We work WITH the body, not against it. This is what makes acupuncture fundamentally different from other therapies - and why we have such high rates of success with our patients. Make an appointment at www.laughingtao.com

What is community acupuncture?

Community acupuncture involves less time than an individual acupuncture session, and costs less. It's a great option for those on a time or financial budget! After a brief intake, you'll be seated in a room with 2+ people. The treatment takes 30 minutes or less.

Community acupuncture is great for many health issues, including pain management, stress relief, and digestive issues. Make an appointment at buff.ly/3v3oxKj

So...what is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine that involves stimulating certain points on the body with needles. Acupuncture has been proven to be effective for many health conditions, including chronic pain, fertility issues, hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, depression, and smoking cessation.

We believe disease manifests as an imbalance in the body. Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as qi (chee) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, your energy flow will re-balance, and bring your body back into natural alignment.

Anxious about acupuncture? Try our community acupuncture treatment, which is a 30-minute treatment with fewer needles.

I’m going to share with you a beautiful metaphor that demonstrates the difference between Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Both medicines have their place in our lives, and both can help support healing. But both also have different approaches. Read more about these differences on our blog! 👉 👉 https://buff.ly/3K73Ilz

We get this question a lot. What is the difference between dry needling and acupuncture? They both use thin needles that are inserted into the body, but the similarity stops there.

This morning, a patient getting some cupping done!

Cupping involves using suction, usually on the back, as a way to massage achy and sore muscles. Cupping is an ancient remedy for releasing spasms and stagnation in the body. It does leave red or purple marks after treatment, and these marks fade anywhere from a few hours to a week. The marks are not painful in any way.

This patient reported that his pain score went from a 5 out of 10 to a 2 out of 10 after treatment with both cups and acupuncture. This method works!
