We cannot put into words how much gratitude we have towards everyone who donated to our Caring and Giving Food Drive during the month of November. It is incredible how many lives we have changed all with your help! We dropped all of our food off to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina today.

We donated a total of 1,268 lbs. of food/toiletries (1,210 meals) or 1,574 total non-perishable items. Along with a monetary donation, which equaled 3,000 additional meals, totaling over 4,200 meals for people who are in need. Thank you to everyone who helped us to reach this amazing goal.

We also wanted to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Elaine who was a huge support and donated from her families business Tarantini Italian Restaurant .

At Primrose, we believe a person’s heritage is one of the many things that makes them special—and that is worth celebrating. In honor of , we asked a few Primrose families how they share their heritage with the world. Check out what they had to say!

As part of our Caring and Giving Events, we asked our Pre-K classrooms to complete age-appropriate chores to earn small amounts of change. The students counted their money collectively and determined how much they had to spend on non-perishables. Teachers then facilitated discussions on what makes a balanced meal, how to create a shopping list of nutritional foods and teaching healthy habits. It is truly a full-circle approach to teaching giving without expectation!

Both our Pre-K 1 and Pre-K 2 classrooms had a blast taking their money to our local Food Lion and Aldi to shop for non-perishables with the money they earned 🥫

At Primrose schools around the country, children turned the Primrose Patch garden into a Magical Pumpkin Patch. They planted magic seeds that grew into big pumpkins overnight just like the characters in the Primrose Harmony & Heart book "Superheroes Save the Day" they read in class. See for yourself!
