Heading back to school can stir up excitement, nervousness, and uncertainty for many. As your child approaches the new school year, communicating openly with them can be a factor in their success.

With that in mind, students can earn a spot on the Advanced Student Honor Roll (ASHR) which recognizes students studying above their school grade level.

Finally, the purple Level M pouch is for students who are nearing completion of the Kumon Math Program. They only have three levels left (MNO) and have started studying trigonometry, sequences and series, and integrals, on their way to the final topic of calculus.

The black Level J pouch is for students who have reached high-level math, studying advanced algebraic concepts. In Reading, they're about to begin learning about critical reading, character analysis, and figurative language, while reading excerpts from classics like Pride and Prejudice. Only 3 levels left (JKL) until completion of the Reading Program!!

Students who earn the bright yellow pouch have reached Level G in Kumon. For math, this means looking at positive and negative numbers and an introduction to algebra. Reading students are beginning to recognize the sentiments of characters, summarize paragraphs, and draw inferences from texts.
