It’s amazing to see what my JAGsters create when given a blank canvas. The last few weeks they worked diligently on a business plan. I will say 90% of all the businesses turned into a Not For Profit and provided a service for those in need. From New Beginnings (a home that provides the resources, skills, tools and a home to help those wanting to break the chains of their past), day cares, detailing and vehicle service , Pottery for Poverty to The Pocket Ninja (self defense items for college students). Wow. Is all I can say

On Tuesday, we attended the First Lady’s Reception for the winner of our JAG essay competition. Lauren’s winning essay is featured a special book composed of all JAG-MO winning essays. This year the topic was, “What do you wish all Missourians new about JAG?” All winning chapter essays have been advanced to the next level and the winners will be announced during our spring state competition. I'm Hope Green the secretary at Dora JAG. I'm a sophmore with the class of 2025. I ran for secretary because JAG is my favorite class and I believe that I have the skills to do it. In my free time I enjoy babysitting and being with family.I am so glad that I get to be secretary of JAG and help out in any way I can while developing skills for my future. I enjoy writing, reading, painting, and boxing in my free time. I enjoy JAG and can't wait for the adventures and experiences we are going to have. Hi! My name is Bria Schneider, I am the VP of Social Awareness for this school year. I love music, reading, cheerleading, history, and helping others. I also really love JAG because it has helped me a lot with becoming the person I want to be, and has helped me become more confident in myself. Here is what Lauren has to say:

Hello! My name is Lauren Martin, and I am a senior. This year I am serving as your Vice President of Leadership Development. I ran for this position because of my past experience in leadership roles. I feel that I can and will exert a positive influence on our chapter and our community. Throughout my life, my parents have taught me that to achieve great things, you must first be willing to work hard. I feel like this is a motto in my life I have learned to live by. This is my first year in being a member of JAG, and I have already learned so much. In my free time, I like to read or draw. I also very much enjoy playing basketball, and I also play softball. I also enjoy drawing and reading, and learning about places to travel. It is a significant goal in my life to visit all these places. My favorite place to visit is the beach! I have big plans for our JAG chapter this year!
