Bradlie Jones who goes by the moniker of Jelie is a multi-talented rapper and producer who is at the fulcrum of an evolving Hip Hop scene. Born and raised in Denver Colorado, Jelie has a drive, a focus, and a tenacity that will lead her to become a relentless and unstoppable force in the independent Hip Hop circuit. Jelie is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, and tell her story her way. Jelie grew up as a musically inclined child. She would freestyle over instrumentals and play rapping video games. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recording Arts and music is the vehicle by which she expresses herself authentically. She writes lyrics that draw from her experiences and by using her musical acumen she articulates stories and shared perspectives that will connect with audiences across the spectrum. Jelie combines various unique and experimental sounds with her intricate wordplay and often dabbles in contrasting flows resulting in Hip Hop-centered fusions that are still firmly stitched together by emotive undertones.

July Mental Health Monday 🤎
Join us next Tuesday, July 22nd for Mental Health Monday featuring LaToya Matthews! See her bio below ⬇️
LaToya Matthews is the author of two books " Wordseeds Personalized Biblical Affirmations" and “Love Is the Answer”. LaToya Matthews has always been passionate about motivating people to make changes that will enrich their lives. She likes stimulating their psyche and helping them to discover the power within themselves. Both of her books are enlightening and educational. “Wordseeds Personalized Biblical Affirmations” is a book with powerful first- person present tense biblical affirmations designed to change people lives. What you continuously think about determines your life. By using “Wordseeds Personalized Biblical Affirmations” the reader can replace old, negative thinking with new, Godly thoughts that will change their self-image and behavior. “Love Is the Answer” is an ingenious book that inspires readers to develop discipline and control over their thoughts. LaToya Matthews is committed to helping people avoid the pitfalls and setbacks she has faced. My workshop teaches participants how to alleviate self-sabotaging habits by enabling them to transform and thrive with the healing powers of self-love. I have developed a technique called Reflective Meditation which makes it easy for participants to embrace the connection between thoughts and reality. She has an inspirational spirit and grounded personality that sparks speaking requests from many organizations. Her effervescent personality and creative ideas have a positive impact on audiences. LaToya Matthews is a coveted speaker who over the past years has inspired audiences to live their dreams.
🌟 Workshop Description: LOVE IS THE ANSWER, BUILD SELF-WORTH AND SELF ESTEEM. You can’t talk yourself out of low self-esteem. No matter how many compliments we get, negative self-talk drags us down. Self-sabotaging thoughts often stem from deep-rooted emotional wounds, mental trauma, or negative beliefs about oneself. Learn techniques that will enable you to transform your life with the Self-Love.

A very happy Juneteenth from CSC! We're celebrating black liberation today and everyday.
We love celebrating this historic milestone in the fight for black liberation. Whether it's parties, parades, or the music festival just a few blocks down from our program space on Welton street, we hope you take time to free your mind and body and enjoy some time in community.
And while we know the journey to liberation is arduous, it is important to take the time to experience joy and delight in the world we're creating together - one that includes freedom for all oppressed peoples, no matter where they are.

📣 Workshop times for the ACT Leadership Cohort are changing! 📣
You gave feedback, and we listened! In recent weeks, we've heard from teens and their families about the time of our Arts for Change and Transformation Leadership Cohort workshops, and we realized that 4:30pm is not responsive to teens who might be commuting from different neighborhoods in Denver (or even outside of Denver!).
To fix this, we have decided to shift workshop times to better suit the schedules of our young community members. All ALC workshops will begin at 5:00pm and end at 7:00pm each day.
Thank you for being honest with us so we can serve you better! We want this program to be about YOU, so feedback like this is so important.
If you have already registered for the program, and have questions about this time shift, please email [email protected] and we’d be happy to help.
04/02/2024
Are you a young artist that wants to make a difference? Do you want to meet new teens and be in community with other creative young leaders? Looking for somewhere to kick it after school and throughout the summer? No problem! There’s still opportunity to be involved in our Arts for Change and Transformation Leadership Cohort (ALC)!
But don’t wait! We have less than five spots left, and registration closes April 26th.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up below! 🏃
