On April 4, 2025, we’ll bring together 200 people in Denver to sing, connect, and discover what unites us through music. It’s more than a jam session—it’s about realizing how much we share despite our differences. In just one evening, you’ll feel the hope and joy of working together in harmony… literally! 🎶

We’re preparing a full schedule of activities celebrating the spirit of Up with People, honoring its incredible legacy, and envisioning its future. Highlights include a Harmony Vocal Jam Session on Friday April 4th, events around town, and an uplifting evening of gratitude on Saturday, April 5th. This Colorado Gives Day, UWP is powering a new initiative: Harmony Jam Sessions

➡️ What? A vocal jam session that brings together 100-200 people from different backgrounds to celebrate our common humanity through music.
➡️ When? April 4, 2025
➡️ Where? Denver (location TBD)

🎵 How does it work?
1. ⁠100-200 people, one music facilitator, one shared space.
2. Learn a popular song with different parts. No prior preparation is needed and everyone is welcome!
3. Experience an amazing blend of harmonies and feel the powerful sense of connectedness that comes with jamming with others.
4. You’ll be amazed at what we create together in just one evening!
5. Go home feeling hopeful and connected.

Moving warehouses wasn’t a quick task—sorting through decades of paperwork, photos, posters, and other materials was truly a unique challenge. We would like to extend a special thank you to Elaine Crepeau for her careful evaluation of every item. In total, we packed nearly 1,000 lbs of UWP memorabilia, which has already been moved to Tucson, Arizona!
