The Care Project is a ground-breaking, large randomized control trial funded by the NIMH (R01MH109662) that tests whether the reduction in maternal depressive symptoms during pregnancy affects the mental health and physiology of their infant over the first year. We are specifically investigating the potential risk pathways during pregnancy that are connected to later anxiety and depression in the child.
