Pretty simple rules to live by
This is so true when it comes to your physical health but it also applies to your financial health. Take care of your finances EARLY, so you aren’t forced to be dependent on Uncle Sam once you retire.
Over the long term, the cheapest way to drive is to buy a car and keep it until it’s uneconomical to repair. Also, be mindful of the money factor, which is finance charge a person will pay on a lease. It is equivalent of the interest paid on the loan. It’s shown as a very small decimal, ex. .0017. Multiplying the money factor by 2,400 will give the equivalent annual percentage rate.
Power of compound Interest! The longer time your investment has to grow, the more work it will do for you and more interest it will yield. As always these numbers are assuming a 10% rate of return.

You can make a million dollars a year and still live paycheck to paycheck due to lifestyle inflation. People tend to increase their spending when their income increases because they now have enough money to buy more expensive things that they could not afford before. Spending more is OK to improve your quality of life but it’s important to not increase your spending TOO much or you won’t be able to achieve your financial goals.
Lending money to family or friends can ruin the relationship. If they really need your help, give them as a gift.
