At this point in my entrepreneurial journey I have adopted two of the most important business philosophies that have infinitely expanded my capacity and influence. For my fellow risk takers and innovators, maybe these can serve you now or in the future of your business success.
๐ค 1. Serve your team (and thus your clients) through incremental delegation. This means to train your people well and consistently; when the time comes, give them the space to grow. That comes with mistakes and misteps, but a good leader uses those shortcomings as opportunities to further innovate. โMake it easier to do right than to do wrong and youโll win every time.โ
๐ 2. Every single meeting has an agenda. If I arrive and youโre unprepared or ill-prepared then Iโm leaving. Itโs nothing to take personally, but I genuinely donโt have time for fluff. I have honed my schedule down to have a dedicated and deeply committed home/work life balance. I respect your time to arrive timely and ready to listen, youโd better be ready to speak. โNo agenda, no attenda.โ

The Catastrophe Response Group is a contractor education and strategic partnership program uniquely designed to help small, independent businesses enter into the retail and insurance side of restoration work.
This alignment of interest creates partnerships between local tradesmen to deliver residential and commercial clients with true craftsmen that build relationships during the restoration process. By following our standardized protocols and procedures, contractors build rapport with the homeowners and business owners and continue to serve their ongoing needs long after the process is complete.
By aligning our local interest we are able to achieve a much larger response capability in the event of a catastrophic event while simultaneously providing our mutual clients with a top-tier experience.

For those of you whom I've already spoken with on what we're building here I'm excited to have you and I'll be posting details of the structure and rollout as they become available. Here's a high level overview for now:
Our mission is to bridge the gap between niche services to unify our local professionals in a system where we serve the clients best interest by creating strategic affiliations between top-rated, local professionals. This starts by equipping emergency mitigation efforts with a simple and easy to follow set of parameters to advocate on behalf of the client through the initial loss, claim submission, and expectations moving forward. Then, when the mitigation work is complete, they're able to seamlessly transfer over a safe and prepared job to our exclusive network of reconstruction professionals; GC's, plumbers, roofers, dry wall experts, trim experts, electricians, painters, cabinetry installers, etc.
Our specific focus in this mission is creating an organized network of affiliates to give highly-rated, local contractors enterprise level service and response time to regional catastrophic events. With these strategic partnerships, our network can combine efforts and resources to maximize our capabilities. All the while following an established set of industry procedures and exceeding minimum standards. We believe it's time to raise the bar by making it easier to do right than to do wrong.
The goal of our mission it to create checks and balances which provide our commercial and residential clients with elite-level, local contractors who truly care about the experience, diligence, and follow-through that they deliver on each and every job. We're the best at what we do, you're the best at what you do, now let's team up and make sure the world around us knows about it.
