Minnesota | Positive Athlete

Do you know a 'Positive Athlete'? Nominate them!

"For the past two years, with the help of the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings we have been building a program in Minnesota high schools called Positive Athlete. The idea was to honor high school student athletes not for what they do from a competition standpoint, but for circumstances they have overcome (home life, illnesses, injuries) or for how they have given back to their schools and communities. Hundreds of kids have been nominated the past two years from over 150 Minnesota high schools. Every nominee receives 2 tickets to a Minnesota Twins game, and Most Positive Athlete in each boys and girls sport is honored on the field during Twins game, plus they receive a VIP behind the scenes tour of the Minnesota Vikings TCO Performance Training Center. To top it off, Delta Air Lines provides two, $2,500 college scholarships to one male and one female athlete each year for the Most Positive Athlete in the state.
