Newton County READS is excited to announce our FALL 2013 classes beginning Monday, August 12th! Newton County READS announces that GED preparation classes will be held at Allen Memorial United Methodist Church and the Newton Housing Authority every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. There is no pre-registration. Newton County READS announces that Adult Literacy classes which includes assistance in reading and math are on-going at Allen Memorial United Methodist Church every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and every Monday and Thursday evening at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. For more information, e-mail [email protected] or call 678-342-7943.
3. Registration for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) through Newton County READS will be Monday, Aug. 19, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the activities building of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.
