To say I am proud is an understatement! We took 4 teams to our first Vex IQ tournament in 19 months today and came home with a WIN!! We had a 1st, 2nd, and 4th place finish. 🤖🤖

CORE sure was different this year BUT, I was excited to see Steve Price and work with my kids to get this year started!!!!! Thanks GATSA for a great virtual conference. See you in November at virtual LeaderCon!!

Hey Guys!! I know that we are all disappointed that our year ended early but here is a great opportunity to watch the new game unveil for next year's game at the VIRTUAL WORLD VEX IQ competition!!

VEX Robotics VEX Robotics is the leading and fastest growing robotics program for middle school and high school students.

I'm just gonna put this out there....I am heartbroken that I'm missing out on things with my students, especially my 8th graders BUT I am so blessed that I was able to give some of them some great memories BEFORE this craziness.
After the conclusion of the GATSA conference in Athens on March 13, my parent chaperone Kimberlee Sorrell, myself, and awesome bus driver Jamie Fox Ogles took the kids to see the new Pixar movie Onward. While we had the whole theater to ourselves and some of them fell asleep, I'll treasure that memory (and the others we made) and I hope my students do too!! This is a crazy time but I'm thankful for the awesome memory to carry me though until next year. Everyone take a breath and know that we are doing this to save lives and that, my friends, is the most important reason of all!!

Felt like I needed to show you all I was alive....lol ;)

Great conference!!! Had three top 10 finishes and ended the night seeing Onward (Disney/Pixar)
Top 10 in Challenging Technology issues, problem-solving and VEX IQ robotics!!! More info to come later but all in all a GREAT CONFERENCE!!!!!!!!

WHEW! GREAT DAY here at the GA TSA conference. We are tired but happy! Day 2 coming up....
