Please don't forget that this Friday, February 26, 2021 is an Early Release Day for Students for Parent/Teacher conferences. Students in both virtual and in-person learning will be released as follows:
Elementary and Theme School students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m.; high school students will be released at 12:15 p.m.; and middle school students will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m.
Lunch will be served at schools before in-person students are dismissed, and all students who ride school buses home in the afternoon will be transported to their normal bus stops.
All parents are encouraged to schedule a meeting with their child’s teacher to learn more about their student’s academic progress.

PBIS Holiday Celebration
Tis the season to be jolly! Students and Staff have been doing an amazing job showing PAWS behavior that we want to thank everyone with a little reindeer fun. During the Week of December 14th, there will be activities going on to help West Newton to celebrate the amazing behaviors of our students and staff.
Spirit Week Dress up
Virtual and in Person
Monday (12/14)-Polar Express Day-wear PJs (15 points to wear Pajamas). Students will need to purchase their PJ passes using PBIS rewards. (ask if you do not know how to do this)
Tuesday (12/15)-Favorite Holiday Character day-dress up as your favorite winter Character (Olaf, Grinch, Elf, etc)
Wednesday (12/16)-Santa's Helper Day-wear Santa hat, elf hat, antlers or holiday socks.
Thursday (12/17)-Ugly Sweater Day (reward for best ugly sweater in each grade level as well as a staff award).
Friday (12/18)-Holiday Dress Up (wear anything that is festive).

Monday (12/14)-Purchase popcorn for $1
Tuesday (12/15)-Winter Bingo with prizes (40 points to participate, students will purchase their ticket using the PBISrewards app)
Wednesday (12/16)-Purchase candy canes for $1
Teachers!!! The elves are busy planning something fun for you all in addition to the activities above. Be on the lookout for more information to come! We can't wait to see you dressed in your favorite elf hat and ugly sweaters.
