Story Of Your Dinner

Don’t let food poisoning be a guest at your holiday table! Mrs. MaryBeth Hornbeck spoke to the Rockdale County 4-H'ers in the 7th -12th grade at 4-H Night this week about holiday food safety. She is giving our 4-H Members a food thermometer for those who complete a food safety survey.

Did you know that using a food thermometer is the only way to know if your food is fully cooked and safe to eat? Check out this video for holiday food safety tips.

https://youtu.be/kyygOaRhow8

If you and your family complete this home food safety survey and return it to the Rockdale Extension Office by Friday January 6, you’ll be eligible for a digital food thermometer for yourself!
