From Pastor Diane,
This summer we will discover different aspects of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus through some of the summer gospel readings. I started thinking about this several weeks ago when I was telling a Bible story to the school children, and I mentioned something about Jesus and his disciples. One of the children said, “What’s a disciple?” – and I realized that was a hard word for a 4 year old! So I said “one of Jesus’ friends”. But what IS a disciple? That’s what we will explore this summer – and I hope it will be joyful.
