An update to followers of this page and those who have reached out in concern to lessons: I am currently unavailable to teach and will likely remain unable to provide lessons for the foreseeable future. In addition to moving states, I have begun a new job, returned to graduate school, and started a band in Richmond, Virginia named Reality Shift . Please follow the band page for new music this summer!
Should you have any specific questions that I can answer over messenger or need advice with guitars, lessons, instructors, or music related information, please do reach out.

Harmonized "Math" Rock in Em with a tonic focus on the 1st, 3rd, and 6th chords, with an added 9th followed by a sequence of minor and major arpeggios in the Locrian, Aeolian, and Mixolydian modes...if that was all just gibberish, why not take a guitar lesson with me?

Eric Johnson - SRV
I have been on a total Eric Johnson kick lately...what an inspiring player! Simply beautiful song writing, total command of the instrument, and an innovator in the field of instrumental rock. SRV was a tune written in tribute to the genre-shaping Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eric embodies Vaughan's attunement to the blues while infusing the tune with many "johnson-isms."
