Day 1 of the Guardian Arena is complete!

The day began with some awesome opening remarks from USSF leaders including Brigadier General and astronaut Nick Hauge and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force, CMSgt Bentivegna.

Our competitors then rocked the academic challenge, which tested their knowledge on Space, Intelligence, Cyber, and adversarial threats (these guys were definitely paying attention in class!). Finally, our two teams competed in the Guardian Strike event, completing intense physical challenges for time.

USSF senior leaders even joined in for some reps at the end!

Tune in tomorrow to see our teams compete alongside units from all over the world in the Round Robin event- an all-day, 13 mile long physical and cognitive challenge. Send good luck and good vibes to our incredible BATS as they represent Delta 1, STARCOM, and the 319th during this event. Let’s see some BATS take the podium! 🏆

HUGE shoutout to our incredible booster club for throwing an awesome holiday party for the Bats!

Our celebration had a stellar white elephant, great raffle prizes (hit up the Intel shop for your smoothie and frozen drink requests!) and a very ✨spirited✨ game of musical chairs. Most importantly, it gave our hardworking team an afternoon to relax and celebrate the holiday season together. Thanks to all of those who came out and for the event, and to our booster club for ensuring that our unit and our families had a great time.

Happy Holidays! 🧑🏼‍🎄✨

Departure out of gate 319 is boarding, BATS!

Congratulations to all of our awesome students on receiving their assignments tonight!

Class 25-003 organized an Island-getaway themed Drop Night, where students and their families found out where they’ll be headed after graduation. Commanders, SELs, and unit members came to greet their soon-to-be inbounds and celebrate a huge milestone for these stellar Space, Cyber, Intel and Force Mod officers.

Weather you’re headed to 🏝️or🏔️, you’ll always be a member of the 319th family, and we can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things you’ll bring to the USSF!

We said “Happy Retirement!” to Lt Col Sula after 20+ years of Service 🇺🇸, had a SNCO offsite, inspected student uniforms, and got our new morale patch mock up!

Happy Halloween from the 319th BATS!

The spirit at SETC was spooky this week with a door decorating contest, a Bat-tastic trunk for trunk-or-treating, “Boo-baskets” for our coworkers, and a gruesome Spooktacular Skelebration! Thanks to all of the awesome instructors who put together a festive week, especially Capt Zachman and MSgt Thomson!

It was a busy week at the Batcave!

Colonel Todd addressed the newest cohort of students as the first iteration of our Leadership Series from various leaders in the service, squadron members worked on their hops at PT, and Lt Col Conley recognized MSgt Childs for his awesome work on the 319th Graduation Exercise.

The Graduation Exercise is the culmination of students learning in OTC and their final test before graduation. It is a multi-week and multi-disciplinary exercise during which students develop and brief a mission plan, execute their plan, and then conduct a debrief. MSgt Childs has been instrumental in developing the cyber element of this exercise and making sure that the quality of our training and student experience is always improving.

Cheers to our Badass Bat of the week and to a new class of fresh faces at OTC!
