Shout out to Erkin Yalcin for organizing the inaugural meeting of the WBG-IMF UMD alumni group
Saw a friend this morning, happy graduation day!
Hi fellow MPP folks. We at Maryland LCV are looking for great summer interns! great environmental policy and nonprofit management experience! Apply today and feel free to share!
Hello Public Policy Students, I graduated in 2011 and I have been working with a number of organizations including the National Nurses United, Progressive Maryland, and Healthcare As a Human Right Maryland, to name a few, and we are working to educate, organize and mobilize around supporting Congresswoman Jayapal's Medicare for All bill. I'm hosting a Medicare for All barnstorm and canvassing on February 23 and March 23 at my house not too far from College Park. This is a great opportunity for those interested in getting more experience in political action. Please let me know if you have any question! https://www.facebook.com/events/2268966209821553/
It's not too early to start thinking about courses for the 2018-2019 school year! Join us for one of SPP's most interesting courses, a 9-day study abroad in Peru. We will be visiting 4 cities (Lima, Cusco, Madre de Dios, and Puerto Maldonado) and looking at a wide variety of policy issues, from environmental conservation to human rights to economic development and beyond.

Established in 1981, the University of Maryland School of Public Policy is one of the nation's leading graduate programs devoted to the study of public policy, management and international affairs. We are the only policy school in the Washington area embedded in a major research university. Located inside the Capitol Beltway, we are a short Metro ride from Congress, federal agencies, international organizations, think tanks, and numerous non-governmental and non-profit organizations. As the flagship campus of the University of Maryland, we serve the State as well as the greater policy community through policy research and education at all levels—international, national, state and local. We encourage you to share your comments and ideas. We value and respect diverse viewpoints and welcome productive dialogue within our Terp community. Dahlia, aka Goose, is a 12-year old Giant Schnoodle. SPP Staff Member Paul Brown got her from a groomer who let her husband babysit their Standard Poodle and Giant Schnauzer one weekend...oops! 🤭🙃 She loves walks, long naps 💤 on the furniture, chasing balls, and barking at the mail carrier. Grace is a four-year old Russian Blue who the Brown family found as a kitten one night outside their church, Grace Episcopal. She loves ignoring her family unless she’s hungry or they’re busy working, tormenting Dahlia, and acting superior to all other creatures. 👑#PolicyPets
