A big thank you to all those who volunteered with us at the resume building workshop at CASA de Maryland! 25 immigrant workers now have a resume they can use to find permanent jobs that will help sustain themselves, their families and the community. After the session was over many of the workers who took part were beaming proudly with their new resumes. Stay tuned for our next volunteering opp with CASA in February!

Join the PTMBAA as they serve at a Lucky Dog pet adoption event on October 25th! We'll be walking dogs around the event and sharing their stories with potential owners. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, Lucky Dog is able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.
