The Terp and Eagle Science Club provides free STEM tutoring to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at Carole Highlands Elementary School in College Park, MD. We aim to promote higher learning and engage students in both core and abstract learning inside and outside the classroom. The Terp and Eagle Science Club is run by University of Maryland student volunteers who provide their tutoring services for free to help impact the futures of young students within the local community.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!! TESC will begin THIS Tuesday 10/11/2016.
We will tutor at Carole Highlands Elementary School on Tuesdays and Thursdays this fall. Please make sure you bring your PGCPS receipts from your background checks, a drivers license or valid ID school ID with picture and expiration date.
The kids cannot wait to see you all!
FYI: The delay has been caused by PG County checking all the documents of all volunteers in the schools in light of the serious issues that have been going on within the county (google to find out more).

TESC is having an interest/ training meeting THIS SATURDAY SEPT. 24TH. If you are interested in joining TESC, come to get more information. 10-11:30 a.m. location TBD (check back on Friday) TESC tutoring will begin in October, but you MUST get background check and have the okay receipt from PG county before Carole Highlands can let you tutor. Good news is you can apply online!
