Equality Dreams

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to playing a positive role in the development of a prosperous future in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Equality Dreams: Poverty to Prosperity, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to playing a positive role in the development of a prosperous future in Clarksville, Tennessee. We understand that all too often at-risk youth are not given what they need to succeed in an educational system that is not equipped to adequately provide dynamic resources for each student. Meanwhile, many homes contain parents who themselves have fallen through the cracks, and while they have the energy and talent to succeed as both parents and citizens, may need more resources and training. To help alleviate these issues, Equality Dreams provides comprehensive after-school programming to help at-risk youth catch up academically and behaviorally with their peers. This is accomplished through a comprehensive 3-hour program focused on math and reading skills, as well as life-skills curriculum to help them get ahead and enjoy learning. In the future, Equality Dreams aims to provide adult education to the parents of at-risk youth, who could benefit from financial and personal development training to better support themselves and their families.

Mission: To provide relevant educational programs that promote a culture that encourages both positive and fruitful personal and financial development. This is accomplished through providing: 1. Extra-curricular educational and holistic personal growth training for children; 2. Professional, financial, legal and personal development training to adults.

For some children, summertime means camp, visits to museums, parks, libraries and access to a variety of fun and enriching activities. For many low-income children, however, the reality of summer is far from this ideal.
