Seems like there are more than one of us who choose to remember "The 19th" - each in our own way. As a Scripps alumna (class of '72) who has lived in Alaska since 1982, I paid some homage in this original crossword puzzle I created for the Aug. 13th edition of a Sitka publication, of which I am editor & publisher. I was equally tickled to read about Emily Ranshaw's non-profit & look forward to her presentation on Oct. 8th. Thank you, Scripps Presents! (BTW, I also support Strand Books & PEN!)
Perhaps you can go home again, after all: Scripps celebrates the return of alumna Alison Saar ’78, renowned sculptor and printmaker, this fall in Mirror, Mirror, The Prints of Alison Saar. Learn more about the Williamson Gallery, Scripps College exhibition and Scripps Presents virtual events here!
