Join the University Libraries, the Center for Textual Studies and Digital Humanities, and Office of Research Services for an engaging program in recognition of Fair Use/Fair Dealing Week. We will be hosting Donna L. Ferullo, JD, Professor and Director of the Copyright Office at Purdue University. An exception under the U.S. Copyright Act, fair use is a provision frequently used in higher education settings that can be confusing to those needing to interpret and apply it. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a group activity that allows them to apply their knowledge of fair use in various scenarios. The event is on Friday, March 1 from 11:30am to 1:30pm in the IC, 4th floor. Refreshments will be available. Please sign up on libraries.luc.edu (link in bio!)
