A feelings chart is a tool to help children identify and express their emotions. 💞 Save this post to use this feelings chart daily with your family.

Start the day by having each member identify how they are feeling in the morning. Throughout the day, family members can change how they are feeling and identify it using the chart as needed. This will help to spark dialogue about feelings and how family members can help or celebrate with one another.

Some benefits of using a feelings chart at home:
- Gives children the opportunity to think about how they feel and learn how to communicate it
- Helps children develop emotional literacy
- Helps children find words for their feelings

It's a warm, inviting spot away from the hustle and bustle of the classroom, designed for times when children feel sad, angry, frustrated, nervous, or tired. The Pre-K classroom at transformed into future city planners as they designed their own city grids. This activity sparked creativity in each child, allowing them to brainstorm and discuss with their classmates the vision for their city.

When it comes to instilling a love for our planet in children, literacy plays an important role.

Introducing young minds to engaging books about nature, animals, and conservation sparks their curiosity about the environment and empowers them to become responsible stewards of our Earth.🌱
