Job Description:
• Packaging and warehouse areas
• loading and unloading rail cars and trucks
• Ability to read and interpret customer requirements when filling packages and loading trucks
• Proper completion of the paperwork and computer based system transactions
• Aligning valves, setting up trucks and rail cars, inspecting connections, filling trucks to their capacity
• Ensuring quality requirements are met at all times
• Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly when necessary
• Able to work at heights up to 140 feet
Qualifications:
• 24 months of material handling experience
• High school degree or GED required
• Steady work history
• Clean background record for the last 7 years
• Able to pass a drug test

**There will be no exceptions made to the above hiring criteria! If you do not meet all qualifications you will not be considered for an open position.
Compensation:
$15.00 hourly

We have had 11 students to receive GED's in 2014!!!

Are you or someone you know a high school graduate between the ages of 17-21 that is interested in a new and exciting career in retail or customer service? We are excited to announce that we will be offering a Customer Service Training Course that will be starting on Monday, September 8, 2014! The course will be based on the National Retail Federation Foundation Curriculum. Upon successful completion of the course and exam you will be given a nationally recognized certificate. With this certification you can apply to retail, call center, and customer service employment positions. This course is offered through the Chester/Lancaster Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Youth Program. There is a certification process and applicants will be required to provide verification documentation. If you are eligible to enroll in the course, it will be of NO cost to you. Please contact our office today at 803-379-8248 or 803-385-1179 to schedule a pre-certification appointment! Applicants must have completed the certification process prior to August 22, 2014 to begin the course on September 8, 2014. Also ask us about additional short term certification programs that are available on site! We look forward to hearing from you!!

This is a great program available to Youth ages 17-21 that live in Chester or Lancaster counties of South Carolina. We offer GED tutoring and study skills training, Leadership and Peer Development Activities, Certificate programs, Employment assistance.
